Sweden : PhD in Nanotechnology and Nanoscience

We are looking for a PhD Student in Nanotechnology and Nanoscience, which is one of Chalmers' strategic Areas of Advance. Research in the area involves several research groups in many departments, and is often characterized by a high degree of interdisciplinarity between Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and many engineering disciplines.
Job description

This position can be placed freely in any department and research group at Chalmers or the University of Gothenburg that is engaged in research in Nanoscience or Nanotechnology. Applicants for this position should briefly describe the project that they wish to work on and the research group they wish to join. In the evaluation process for this position, the most important factor is the academic quality of the applicant, and the project description will only be used to determine that the planned research falls in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology and decide the organisatorial placement of the position.

Placement of this position will be decided based on the wishes of the successful applicant.

Required qualifications

A suitable background for candidates is a M.Sc. in Physics or Engineering Physics or Chemistry with a strong interest in nanoscience and nanotechnology.
