----------------
- evaluation of existing acquisition procedures and development of
new quantitative MRI-based procedures, especially regarding
quantification of local tumor perfusion
- adaption and development of MRI acquisition sequences
- development and implementation of new methods for optimized MRI
and PET imaging
- mathematical modeling and development/implementation of new data
analysis methods and their use in preclinical and clinical research
projects
- contribution to ongoing application-oriented research projects with
a focus on oncology
- quality control and quality assurance of the new PET/MRI system
Requirements:
------------
- excellent M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in physics
- comprehensive knowledge of MRI physics
- preferably practical experience in MRI or PET imaging and MRI
