The Division of Tumor Cell Biology at the University of Heidelberg, Department of Surgery, searches a
PhD Student
for a grant funded project on the role of CD44 in hematopoiesis and leukemia with interest in cell and molecular biology. The grant is limited to 3 years.

We are an international team engaged in metastatic research with focus on the interaction of tumor stem cells with the niche, including CD44 as a stem cell marker.

We offer widespread expertise in cell and molecular biology. The candidate should have a master degree or diploma in biology or biochemistry. We expect a solid background in cell biology, cooperativity and high engagement.
