A PhD scholarship is available at DTU Informatics with a starting date in the fall 2010. The scholarship is offered as part of a strategic plan so that supervisors not having any PhD students already will be given highest priority.
The subject of the PhD thesis must be within one of the main research areas of the department:
- Algorithms and Logic
- Embedded Systems Engineering
- Image Analysis & Computer Graphics
- Cognitive Systems
- Language-Based Technology
- Mathematical Statistics
- Scientific Computing
- Software Engineering
- DTU Data Analysis
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a M.Sc. degree in engineering or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a M.Sc. degree in engineering.
DTU Scholarships
The scholarships for the PhD degree are subject to academic approval and the candidates will be enrolled in one of the general degree programs at DTU.

Salary and appointment terms
The salary and appointment terms are consistent with the current Danish rules for PhD students. The period of employment is 3 years.

- Short description of your PhD project
- Acceptance in writing from a supervisor
- Documentation for MSc degree
- Excell sheet with translation of grades to the Danish grading system
