MAGDALEN COLLEGE FELLOWSHIP BY EXAMINATION 2009-2010
The Magdalen College Oxford proposes to elect, in February 2010, one or two fellows by examination. Each fellowship is tenable for three years at a stipend starting £ 1,9704 per annum with increments in the second and third years. The fellow is a member of the governing body of the college and entitled to free lunches and dinners, a research allowance and either to free single accommodation or to discretionary housing allowance, currently set at £ 1,0000 per annum.
Application Requirements: Graduates of any university in any subject forming part of an honours degree, or its equivalent, are eligible but candidates must have undertaken no more than four years' graduate study or relevant academic work (eg as a lecturer) by October 1, 2009. Applications are encouraged from all countries and all universities in all subjects. Applicants who would need a work visa if appointed to the post need to demonstrate that they have sufficient points.
