Post-doc position, the Netherlands

Holland's finest cities. The position is full-time. We are interested in how connexin26 mutations cause skin disease and have state-of-the art facilities to answer our research questions, including modern fluorescent and confocal laser scanning microscopy, vital (calcium) imaging, electron microscopy, culture facilities and the latest equipment for quantitative PCR. Deep sequencing facilities will become operational next year. Our research centers around the effects of connexin mutations on protein transport and localization.

Our lab is well integrated with one of the foremost clinics for inherited skin diseases in Europe and thus has unparalleled access to patient material. The position could start per the 1st of January, 2010. If you are interested, or know someone who is, please contact me.
